My Favourite Loo

My daily ritual down to my favourite loo: through three doors, two locks, four flights of stairs into a room filled with the sound of footsteps from the street above. A room underground yet not silent, never silent. A room so alone but so connecting—you can hear voices but no one knows you’re there. Heaven.
